Supermicro MegaRAID's low-key AOM-S3108-H8 is equipped with 8 internal SAS interfaces for high-performance storage connectivity. This RAID card is built on Broadcom SAS IC technology and validated MegaRAID technology. It meets the growing demand for data throughput and scalability on enterprise level server platforms. With its high-performance RAID architecture, including hardware RAID 5 and 6, this new RAID control card supports high-capacity storage applications. It provides a cost-effective storage solution through SATA hard drives and achieves maximum performance and reliability through SAS hard drives.
Optional supercar/TFM unit provides cache data protection, allowing system builders to protect cache data even in the most severe system failures.
Use Broadcom 3108 input/output processor for optimal RAID performance and PCI Express host interface for increased bandwidth. This RAID adapter provides an intelligent and robust RAID solution.
